Holy Family Parish is a community empowered through the Holy Spirit to promote the Kingdom of God and to extend Christ's presence among us.  The vision will be realized with our loving acceptance of all people, through heartfelt openness, parish and family unity, and Spirit led involvement.

8:30 AM (Monday - Saturday)
Saturday Vigil: 5:00 PM
Sunday Masses: 7:00 AM, 9:00 AM & 11:00 AM

Confession Times:
Wednesday & Saturday mornings after the 8:30 AM Mass.
Saturdays from 4:00-4:45 PM.

Ordination Anniversaries. . . . . . .
As we celebrate this World Day of Prayer for  Vocations, please keep in your prayers Deacon Mike and Deacon Tom. This week on April 25th they will celebrate their 9th Ordination Anniversary. We thank you for all of the time, service and dedication you provide to our parish and your ministry.  Congratulations Deacons!

Mother’s Day
Mass Remembrance: The Mother’s day Mass Novena will begin on Mother’s Day and continue for 9 nine days following. Envelopes received by May 5th will have the names of their mothers listed in out Mother’s Day bulletin. Cards to send to your living mothers are available in the narthex.

Mother’s Day Flower Sale: In support of Pennsylvanians for Human Life flowers will be sold after all Masses on Mother’s Day weekend. Roses: $2 each, 3 for $5, 6 for $10

Pro-Life Rosary Prayer Walk
Each year in the United States, millions of unborn children lose their lives to abortion. Stand with the Knights of Columbus as we pray the Rosary and advocate for the protection of the unborn. Join us for a prayer walk around the parish grounds on Sat., May 11th at 2PM.  All parishioners and pro-life supporters are warmly invited to assemble in front of the parish center starting at 1:45.  In case of rain we will gather inside. Baby Bottle Campaign Knights of Columbus Council 4282 holding baby bottle campaign to benefit the Cay Galgon Life House. The mission of the Cay Galgon Life House is to prepare pregnant women and mothers of infants for a life of self-reliance. Campaign will run from May 5th – May 26th.  Pick up a baby bottle from the Narthex. Fill it with coins, cash or checks and return it on May 26. Together we can make a difference in the lives of  mothers and babies in our communities.

Anointing Mass~Holy Family
  Saturday, May 18th at 11:00 AM
In his life and ministry, Jesus healed the sick. In this sacrament, the Church continues the healing mission of Jesus and prays that God will grant healing to the person who is suffering. This Sacrament offers spiritual healing through the Holy Spirit’s gifts of peace and courage.  And so, anyone who is living with serious illness: physical, emotional or psychological, those with failing health, those who are going for surgery and the elderly are encouraged to celebrate this sacrament.

     Pray the Rosary before Morning Mass

Please join us each weekday  at 8:00 AM to pray the Joyful Mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary. If mass is at 9:00 the  Rosary will begin at 8:30.
~We can coordinate  for the rosary to be prayed    before the four weekend masses as well. If you are available to lead the rosary before the 5PM, 7AM, 9AM or 11AM masses, please call the Parish Office.~

Children’s Liturgy of the Word
Children’s Liturgy takes place during the 9AM Sunday Mass for children ages 3 thru 1st grade. Children are dismissed before the first reading and are picked up from the Children’s Liturgy room in the church basement after mass.

MAY CROWNING
Next weekend, May 5th, we will welcome the Altar Rosary Society to the 9AM Mass. The society will attend mass a whole for the crowing of the Blessed Mother.  
*Members are requested to wear their badges and meet in the narthex at 8:45.

Altar Rosary Mother Daughter Dinner
~The annual ARS Mother Daughter Dinner will be on Tuesday, May 7th, in the Parish Center.  Members without daughters available may bring another guest (7th grade+).  Doors open 5PM; Dinner at 5:45. Cost is $8 per person.  Call Nancy (610-392-9854) for more information or reservations for you and your guest(s).  Deadline is 4/26.

PREP 2024-2025
Holy Family PREP (Parish Religious Education Program)
PREP classes are for students attending public school in grades K - 8. Online registration is taking place now at: www.holyfamilynazarethpa.com/p  ~In person classes are held on Wednesdays from 4:30-5:45 in the Holy Family School building. Pastoral Council is seeking nominations for new members
Who We Are: The PPC was formed by Father Jonas in the Spring of 2021. The council was started with a small subset of parishioners of  diverse backgrounds and talents  with a mission to bring forward the Kingdom of God and extend Christ's presence among the parishioners of Holy Family Church. We are a praying community that through our engagement and example lead our parish community into a fuller life of prayer.
What We Do: The PPC is an advisory team to Fr. Jonas tasked with bringing forward the spiritual and physical needs and concerns of the parishioners that will help him identify goals, priorities and action plans for the betterment and growth our church.  We support Fr. Jonas in his role as shepherd and engage with the parishioners of Holy Family to encourage participation in parish life and the various parish organizations.
Interested in becoming a PPC Member? Nominations for yourself or someone else can be submitted via email to Chris Adams at: disciple5171@gmail.com. If you cannot email, please place your interest, with the required information, in an envelope marked “Chris Adams/ Pastoral Council Nomination” and placed in the Sunday collection before 5/12/24.
Include the following information: First and last name, phone number, email address, best day/time to contact you, number of years as a Holy Family Parishioner, current volunteer ministries (ex: lector, cantor, catechist)  and why you would like to participate in PPC.
Nominations will be open through May 12, 2024. All nominees must be at least 18 years of age, registered at Holy Family Church and considered a catholic in good standing. Nominees will be contacted by a Nomination Team Member from the PPC via phone for a short call to  learn more about your interest in becoming a member and next steps in the process.

    Pilgrimage to the National
    Centre for Padre Pio 
A Local Diocesan Pilgrimage has been planned for September of 2024 at the National Centre for Padre Pio in Barto, PA. Please save the dates for Thursday, September 19, 2024 (High School), Friday, September 20, 2024 (English), and Saturday, September 28, 2024 (Spanish).      Pilgrimage to the National
     Shrine of the Immaculate Conception
The Diocesan Pilgrimage to the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C., will be on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary. The Diocesan Pilgrimage tradition to Mary’s House is typically held every four years. More information will be forthcoming for individuals, parishes, and schools.
