Holy Eucharist

Jesus said to them, 'I am the Bread of Life; he who comes to me shall not hunger,
and he who believes in Me shall never thirst'

John 6:35

First Eucharist or First Holy Communion is the common name for a person's first reception of the sacrament of the Eucharist. As Catholics, we recognize the importance of this event because the Eucharist is the central focus of the sacramental life of the Catholic Church. A child baptized as an infant into the family of God now takes place at the Lord's table. This is a momentous event for the child, the family and the parish community.
